Chili

*This is just a basic and easy way to make chili*

1 lb. ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 1/1 Tbls. chili powder
1 clove garlic, minced
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
1 (28 oz) can tomatoes, chopped (do not drain)
1 can (14 oz.) tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 can (15 oz) chili beans or kidney beans, undrained

Cook first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan until meat is browned, stirring until it crumbles; drain. Add all remaining ingredients except beans. Stir well; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for about 1 to 2 hours. Add beans, stirring well, and cook until thoroughly heated. Enjoy!
